Edward Cripps Prize

The late Edward Cripps continued the legacy of his father and grandfather as a long time supporter of Cripps Hall.  Regularly attending annual Founder’s Day Dinners throughout his lifetime, he would entertain with tales of gnomes before traditionally buying all those present a drink in the hall bar.

The Edward Cripps Prize was established in his memory to recognise undergraduate students who continue to contribute to the unique ethos of fellowship and community at Cripps Hall.  Awarded annually, it celebrates those who continue to act as positive roles models supporting those around them.
