The late Edward Cripps continued the legacy of his father and grandfather as a long time supporter of Cripps Hall. Regularly attending annual Founder’s Day Dinners throughout his lifetime, he would entertain with tales of gnomes before traditionally buying all those present a drink in the hall bar.
The bursary is intended to help with a longer-term academic or business project, either in the UK or abroad, not necessarily relating to the applicant’s academic course. The project should be to the benefit of the applicant and ideally of benefit to others.
